Harhay Development’s latest project is an ambitious undertaking in the redevelopment of one of Leslieville’s most recognizable intersections. 875 Queen East is a proposed 7 storey mixed use condominium development that will front along Queen East, spanning the entire southern block from Logan to Booth Avenues.
The plans for 875 Queen East will feature commercial retail on the ground floor with 118 residential units above; including 80 one bedroom suites, 38 two bedroom layouts and two storey units on the 6th and 7th floors. Sizes will range from 557 to 1,000 square feet and most of the condos will feature a balcony or terrace. And the residential lobby is to be situated on Logan Avenue.
Harhay’s intent is to maintain the Red Door Family Shelter on the site, but will relocate the shelter to a separately designated 3 storey building on Booth Avenue. The second and third floors will provide 90 temporary shelter beds in 2, 4 and 6 bedroom suites. An outdoor playground and new landscaping will comprise the exterior of the building.
This large scale project is one that Core Realty Group will be watching carefully, as Leslieville’s streetscape will change dramatically with the development of 875 Queen East.
