Jen’s first home was built by her grandparents on Summerhill Avenue in 1912. She grew up in the midst of a family that owned and operated the T. English (Olive Farm Dairy) from the early 1900’s until 1965 at 68 Shaftesbury Avenue, Toronto. Although a Toronto Beach resident since 1974, she has never forgotten her ‘hometown roots’ and is now the co-chair of the Summerhill Heritage Conservation District Study. She is also a member of the Summerhill Residents’ Association.
Jen received a Bachelor of Physical & Health Education and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto. For several years she taught for the ‘old’ Scarborough Board of Education at both Winston Churchill Collegiate and Birchmount Park Collegiate. She served as Vice President and President of the Scarborough Secondary Schools Girls Athletic Association.
Jen began her real estate career in 1983. She has conducted real estate business in many rural and out of town areas that include Prince Edward County, Bowmanville, Cannington, Whitby, Oshawa, Hamilton, Pickering, Ajax, Port Credit and presently Fergus. She has also been the listing or co-operating realtor for many neighbourhoods in Toronto and the GTA including East York, the Beach, High Park, the Junction, Rosedale, Long Branch, New Toronto, Moore Park, Summerhill and more.
Jen is an avid golfer and is a member of the Toronto Hunt.
